About Alison Fishman, DMD
With a fresh academic and clinical background, Dr. Fishman brings a modern and evidence-based approach to patients' dental needs. Dr. Fishman enjoys thorough planning and execution of implant dentistry, from single tooth to full mouth reconstructions. She has extensive training in replacing teeth with removable prostheses including complete and partial dentures. Additionally, she has a passion for restoring esthetics and function on teeth including bonding, crowns, bridges and veneers. She takes pride in properly planning treatments to meet the individual needs of the patient. Dr. Fishman completed her prosthodontics training at UCSF where she received the American Prosthodontic Society award and was chosen to be the chief resident. For dental school, Dr. Fishman attended the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with honors in clinical dentistry. She majored in Art History at Princeton University where she also served as captain of the varsity rowing team. In her spare time, you can find Dr. Fishman exploring hiking and running trails around the bay area, trying new restaurants and breweries, and caring for her rare orchid collection.
