About Adam J. Messenger, MD
Injectables and Facial Rejuvenation Specialist Dr. Adam J. Messenger has been Euro Laser’s medical director since 2012 and is known for taking a global approach to facial rejuvenation, which he believes should consist of gradual changes and perfect balance and harmony with the rest of the face. He utilizes the principle that volume restoration recreates the youthful face, and encourages sound skincare and internal nutrition regimens as keys to help patients look their best. As Medical Director, he will oversee all procedures and ensure efficient, effective, state-of-the-art policy guidelines and treatment protocols, keeping Euro Laser at the forefront of the evolving medi-spa industry. Dr. Messenger received his BS in Neuroscience from Trinity College in Hartford, CT where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa national honor society. His interest in the field of Pharmacology motivated him to pursue both an MD degree and an MS in Pharmacology from New York Medical College. There, he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) national medical honor society for his standing in the top 10% of his class. He subsequently decided to pursue internal medicine for its broad overview of every field and optimal benefit to patients, further enhanced by his outstanding diagnostic skills and pharmacology expertise. He was elected Chief Resident at the Yale University Residency Program at Greenwich Hospital and devised a major patient safety initiative there, using computers to accurately and legibly allow physicians to order medications (published), and subsequently held the office of Chief Medical Information Officer. One of the youngest physicians to receive the prestigious Physician Partner in Care Award at Greenwich Hospital, Dr. Messenger was voted by nurses to be the physician they felt most comprehensively displayed outstanding skill in patient care, compassion and team leadership. He was twice awarded the Greenwich Hospital Quality Award for going above and beyond in patient care, particularly with those who were critically ill, and was also awarded the Dale Carnegie Golden Book award by his peers for outstanding leadership. Dr. Messenger's practice also benefits from his passion for art, and skill as a sculptor, which adds a dimension to his expertise that likely contributed to the alternatives he developed for traditional injection techniques, specifically his Vertical Volume Technique. This revolutionary, new technique allows immediate, non-surgical results with minimal to no bruising or downtime. He firmly believes in constant innovation in all areas of medicine to improve what already exists, taking time and care to educate both patients and their families, and addressing emotional and spiritual needs in addition to the physical. You will find that Dr. Messenger is committed to eradicating the cold, clinical barriers so common in many practices, which is immediately evidenced in his accessibility and down-to-earth demeanor. He strives to make each patient and family member feel secure and informed every step of the way, and very much looks forward to meeting you to discuss your needs.
