About Allan P. Capinpin, DDS
Dr. Capinpin grew up in the East Bay. He attended the University of California, Davis earning a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology in 1990. He went on to attend the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco earning his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1994. The first few years out of school were spent as an associate dentist at offices in Antioch, Concord, and Piedmont. The doctor started his own practice in Walnut Creek in 1996, and then moved the practice to its present location in 2001. Dr. Capinpin is an active member of the Diablo Study Club which is comprised of a group of peers who meet monthly to review, discuss, and learn about the newest technologies and advancements in dentistry. Dr. Capinpin is also a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and served as a board member for the Contra Costa Dental Society. The Doctor met his wife while attending UC Davis and together have three children; Jaylene, Carissa, and Nathan. Dr. Capinpin enjoys coaching his kids sports programs, family days at the Oakland Zoo, Monterey Bay Aquarium, and the park. Hobbies include golf, biking, bowling, scuba diving, cooking, walking, and watching his kids grow.
