About Angie Koriakos, DO
Dr. Angie Koriakos, DO, MPH, is a Board Certified Dermatologist specializing in the diagnosis and management of diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. Dr. Koriakos is an Arizona native who graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science / Kinesiology. With a strong interest in international medicine, she went on to obtain a Master of Public Health degree with a focus on Global Health from Loma Linda University. She completed medical school in southern California at Western University of Health Sciences. Dr. Koriakos completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. She completed her three year dermatology residency training at University of North Texas Health Science Center, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Koriakos has an interest in infectious disease dermatology and is one of the few physicians to have completed a fellowship in HIV dermatology at University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Koriakos believes in giving back to communities in need and frequently volunteers her time at local skin cancer screenings and community events. Dr. Koriakos has also participated in several medical mission trips to countries such as Kenya, Tanzania, Egypt, Mexico, and Bolivia. In her free time she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and three dogs.
