About Ann B. Coambs, DDS
In the words of William Arthur Ward, ""A warm smile is the universal language of kindness."" At Imagine Dentistry, we will always welcome you to our office with warm smiles, and work diligently to create a comfortable, positive experience for you every time you visit our practice. As your dentist, my goal is to help you establish optimal dental health and the confident, fantastic smile that you deserve. In addition, if you struggle with headaches or TMJ (jaw joint) pain, I will use my advanced dental training from The Dawson Academy to help assess and treat these problems. I lived all over the U.S. while growing up, most frequently landing in Nebraska and Texas. I completed college at Rice University and dental school at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston, TX. Finally, I came to Charlotte to complete my residency training at CMC Hospital. I fell in love with the Queen City during that year, and my husband and I decided to permanently relocate to North Carolina. Awesome decision! Soon after I opened my dental office in 2012, I earned the prestigious Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry (a.k.a. FAGD designation), signifying my commitment to continuing education. Only 6% of general dentists have earned this honor! I've also received a Charlotte Top Dentist award in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. Outside of the office, I enjoy kickboxing at 9Round, eating good food, hiking in the mountains, and spending time with friends. But most of all, I love spending time with my three wonderful sons, my husband, and my extended family. They are my joy!
