About Armita A. Bushong, DDS
Dr. Armita Bushong graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in College Station, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University, where she received a B.S. Degree in Biomedical Science with honors. In addition, she immediately entered the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Dental School and graduated with honors for her D.D.S. degree in 2001. She also completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at UTHSCSA in 2004. Dr. Armita Bushong has been a general dentist for 17 years. She enjoys providing care for her patients in general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and implant dentistry in San Antonio with a caring and gentle touch! After practicing dentistry in three offices in Austin, she returned to San Antonio and continued in her own office for several years until she decided to teach clinical dentistry (to junior, senior and graduate dental students) at the UT Health Science Center San Antonio School of Dentistry. She enjoys teaching dentistry very much, and is passionate about dentistry and making a positive difference for students and patients. Dr. Armita Bushong joined Alamo Ranch Dental this past year. Also, she takes a conservative approach with patients and takes great efforts to make sure her patients are cared for and comfortable. In addition, Dr. Armita is is a busy mother of three children. She enjoys cooking, baking (but not cleaning the kitchen afterwards), swimming, photography and art. She is married to Dr. Perry Bushong. When they are not doing dentistry, they are doing kiddie-related activities with their three children, in the San Antonio community.
