About Benjamin L. Hanson, DDS
Dr. Ben Hanson was born in Detroit, Michigan and has remained a resident of southeastern Michigan throughout his life. Dr. Hanson completed his bachelors degree and his Doctor in Dental Surgery degree at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. From there Dr. Hanson completed an advanced residency program focusing on complex restorative dentistry, oral surgery and IV sedation at the VA Hospital and University of Michigan Hospitals in Ann Arbor. Dr. Hanson entered private practice in 2011 and has maintained a consisted focus on continued learning, completing hundreds of hours of continuing education and advanced training. Dr. Hanson believes strongly in education and is the founding partner and faculty at the Foundation For Surgical Excellence – an AGD accredited continuing education company supporting doctors in learning progressive surgical techniques to advance patient care. Dr. Hanson is also the clinical director of implantology for Heartland Dental care which is the largest Dental Support Organization in the United States supporting over 1000 doctors. Dr. Hanson was awarded fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and maintains membership with many professional organizations.
