About Brad Heim, DMD
Dr. Brad Heim, a native of East Hartford, graduated from The University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1985 and completed a general practice residency at The University of Rochester. Dr Heim has been practicing general dentistry in Glastonbury since 1986. Dr. Heim earned his Masters award from The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) in 2011.The Mastership award is the highest honor available in the AGD and one of the most respected designations within the profession. Less than two percent of general dentists in the United States are Masters with the AGD. Dr. Heim was inducted as a Fellow of The Pierre Fauchard Academy (PFA) in 2011.The PFA is an International Dental Honor Society whose members are distinguished for their contributions to the dental profession and public service to the general community. Dr. Heim received the Fellowship award from The Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD) in 2016. The ALD strives to improve patient care through the use of dental lasers. Dr. Heim is also a member of The American Dental Association, The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, The New England Masters Study Club, The Connecticut State Dental Association and The Hartford Dental Society. Dr. Heim has participated in annual dental mission trips to Guatemala since 2004 and is the present leader of the mission team. He has participated in the Connecticut Mission of Mercy since 2008 and is a restorative team leader and steering committee member. He has been voted Top Dentist in the Hartford Magazine since 2008. Dr. Heim enjoys time with his family, camping, hiking, and kayaking.
