About Brett A. Murphey, DDS
Dr. Brett Murphey was born and raised in the Houston area. He completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M in Biomedical Science, and he taught 9th grade science at Eisenhower High School before becoming a dentist. He was well-liked by his students, and he was even awarded “Teacher of the Month” by the student body… Mr. February! Dr. Murphey graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston at the top of his class, with honors. In addition to being elected Class President, he excelled in patient relations, hand clinical skills and was well-liked by his peers. On a mission for continuous improvement in all endeavors in his life, Dr. Murphey holds himself to a high standard of excellence. He believes in surrounding himself with a superstar team at Woodlands Family Dental to help him be the best he can. As part of his pursuit of excellence, Dr. Murphey has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education in such areas as cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, implant and sedation dentistry. Dr. Murphey is friendly, he loves what he does, and he aims to get things done right the first time. To help him accomplish this, he listens to his patients’ expectations and strives to accommodate each individual’s routine and restorative cosmetic dentistry needs. In his personal life, Dr. Murphey and his wife Crystal have three beautiful children together; Elizabeth, Brett Aaron and Corbin! Dr. Murphey has traveled to Mexico, Nicaragua, and Guatemala where he provides dental care to impoverished areas and serves hundreds of orphans. He also enjoys driving cars at Texas World Speedway, boating on Lake Conroe, skiing, scuba diving and is consistently involved in a men’s Bible study. Dr. Murphey looks forward to getting to know you and your family too!
