About Brian D. Baptist, DDS
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Brian Baptist, eldest son of Dr. David Baptist. I am a graduate of Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois where I majored in pre-medicine, Fine Arts and Art History. My education continued with a Masters degree at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville where I was involved in cell research and taught courses in anatomy. I completed my formal schooling at University of Illinois College of Dentistry where I received my doctorate and excelled at restorative and pediatric dentistry. I was honored to serve as the student representative of the Chicago Dental Society in several capacities including academic chapter president. I was fortunate to have been selected to serve an externship with the Indian Health service, providing health care to the Inupiak people of Alaska. Besides flying into remote villages with bush pilots, I was able to drive a dog team on a typical sled to the most northern point in North America, Point Barrow, Alaska. I bring with me a relaxed yet professional demeanor. I love dentistry and teaching patients how to maintain their oral health. I am very pleased to be practicing with my father David and my brother Ben. As part of Baptist Family Dental, I welcome the opportunity to provide dental care for you and your family.
