About Bruce A. Kanehl, DDS
Dr. Bruce A. Kanehl attended The University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. He majored in Mechanical Engineering and played on the basketball and golf teams. He then attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 1974. Following dental school, Dr. Kanehl joined the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Jacksonville, Florida. He married Marla who was a practicing hygienist in Jacksonville and they started his private practice in 1976. They have three beautiful daughters, Brianne, Keri and Jamie. Today, after over 40 years in private practice, Dr. Kanehl is one of North Florida's premier cosmetic and restorative dentists. His special emphasis is in the treatment of dysfunction of the Temporomandibular Joints (TMJ) and Sleep Apnea. Dr. Bruce A. Kanehl artfully blends dentistry and beauty. Kanehl is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Northeast District Dental Association of Florida, The Society of Occlusal Studies and The American Equilibration Society. When he is not at his practice, Dr. Kanehl enjoys spending time with his family and dogs and cats, traveling, boating and playing golf.
