About Christopher P. Kelly, MD
Dr. Kelly received Bachelors degrees from both Brigham Young University and the University of Michigan, and graduated at the top of his class from the University of Michigan with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. He continued on to earn his medical degree at Wayne State University. After finishing General Surgery training at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan, Dr. Kelly completed a research fellowship at the Institute for Craniofacial and Reconstructive Surgery with world renowned plastic surgeon, Dr. Ian T. Jackson. He completed an ACGME-accredited Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at the Detroit Medical Center, and a fellowship at Michigan Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery in Southfield. He is currently a Diplomat of the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Kelly has published 21 research articles in medical journals and made over 50 presentations, including to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the European Association of Plastic Surgeons and the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons. He was invited to speak at the North American Skull Base Society on Facial Nerve Paralysis and Rehabilitation as well as at a national symposium three years running on various subjects of facial rejuvenation. Dr. Kelly has performed more than 10,000 cosmetic surgeries on the face, breast, and body, including over 1500 facelifts. He has also trained over 400 surgeons on various surgical techniques that he pioneered. He continues to be involved in local charity procedures ranging from scar revisions on battered women to Moebius Syndrome correction.
