About Daniel Bishop, DMD
Dr. Daniel Bishop was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, the youngest of six children. He graduated from Highland High School in Sugarhouse, and afterward served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in London, England. He then went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, also minoring in chemistry and mathematics. Dr. Bishop attended Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he excelled in all areas of clinical dentistry and graduated near the top of his class. He was a member of the Oral Surgery Honor Society, Endodontic Honor Society and Anesthesia Honor Society. Dr. Bishop is very meticulous and constantly strives to provide all of his patients with the highest quality dental care possible through taking countless hours of continuing education and offering the most up-to-date technology and highest quality materials available. He has genuine concern for his patients and ensures they are well cared for and comfortable during their treatment. He is also committed to patient education and promoting good oral hygiene to prevent and reverse dental decay. Dr. Bishop is a certified Invisalign® provider. He is certified to provide CAD/CAM CEREC crowns for patients that are designed and milled in-office and can be placed in a single visit. Dr. Bishop has also received his Mastership Certification from the World Clinical Laser Institute to perform laser dental surgeries, in addition to completing an advanced residency program from the prestigious, world-renowned White Cap Institute for placing dental implants. Dr. Bishop has also received advanced training in the areas of cosmetic dentistry, full-mouth reconstruction, occlusion, and treating TMJ and sleep disorders.
