About Daniel Kovacik, DMD
After graduating from Arizona State University, Dr. Kovacik received his dental degree from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. He also holds a Master of Public Health from the Arizona School of Health Management and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Maui Oral Health Center. Dr. Kovacik will be awarded a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry in June 2018. Dr. Kovacik believes community leadership and continual professional development are the hallmarks of a good dentist. He is currently an active board member of the Central Arizona Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Kovacik was a graduate of the inaugural class of the Leadership Exploration and Development Program with the Arizona Dental Association. He also served as Adjunct Faculty at Midwestern University’s College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kovacik is currently attending the Spear Dental Institute in Scottsdale, AZ for advanced training in complex prosthetic rehabilitation of the dentition and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Kovacik lives in Phoenix with his wife Dr. Angela Herro Kovacik. He focuses his philanthropic efforts on helping underserved individuals in local communities. His volunteer activities include the Arizona Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kovacik likes to take advantage of the amazing Arizona environment by hiking, backpacking, and mountain biking. He also has a passion for travel and has lived in several different countries throughout his life.
