About Danielle Hawes, Tattoo Specialist
Even as a little girl, two of Danielle’s passions have been makeup and caring for others. She took that compassion and became a registered nurse. Over the past two decades, Danielle has become a leader in the field of nursing. However, a few years ago Danielle’s love of makeup got reinvigorated when she discovered airbrush makeup application. Ever since, Danielle has been asked to assist her family and friends with their makeup for all of the most important moments in their lives, including numerous weddings and proms. Danielle loved the idea of helping everyone to look their best hiding imperfections or camouflaging scars, knowing she could help people feel their most beautiful gave Danielle so much joy and satisfaction. Many of Danielle’s older friends and family members made her feel the happiest when they would look in the mirror with amazement at what Danielle was able to accomplish. This is when Danielle first started discovering permanent makeup. She attained her permanent makeup certification studying under one of the industry’s pioneer artists. Combining her passions as an RN and a makeup artist was a dream come true. Having the ability to use permanent makeup could improve one's confidence, enhance natural beauty and assist with the camouflage of the skin or scalp for hair loss. Having a background as an RN gives her an advantage of understanding a client's health history or how certain conditions may affect someone being a good candidate for a permanent cosmetics procedure. Understanding the disease process, medications and being able to assess the client is key to safety and having a good outcome. She loves to learn and is always looking for the newest techniques and staying current with industry standards. She is very compassionate and will assure each client support and comfort through the process. Consultations are recommended and there is never any pressure to proceed with a procedure. The client must be physically and most importantly emotionally ready before they commit to permanent makeup.
