About David Dellinger, DO
Dr. David Dellinger is an accomplished surgeon double-board certified in both Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as General Surgery. In practice since 1997, Dr. Dellinger has performed thousands of procedures in his career. In 2001, he was recognized for his achievements by being named a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. In the area of Cosmetic Procedures, Dr. Dellinger focuses on areas of breast surgery, liposuction, body contouring and facial rejuvenation. Dr. Dellinger also performs a wide variety of reconstructive procedures with a personal interest in breast reconstructive surgery. Dr. Dellinger is also a Certified Wound Specialist (CWS). Dr. Dellinger regularly attends local and national medical education conferences and is a regular lecturer. He also serves on numerous medical committees at the local and national level and was recently elected Division Chair of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. Dr. Dellinger is Clinical Trainer for Sciton lasers, He has previously served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, serving on the teaching faculty of several surgical residency programs in the Northeast Ohio Area. Dr. Dellinger is a native of Texas, where he completed his undergraduate work at the University of Texas at Arlington. He attended medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas where he received the Dupont Pharmaceuticals Award for achievements in the pre-doctoral years. His internship was completed at the Tri-City Hospital in Dallas, Texas where he was named outstanding intern in his class. He completed a residency in General Surgery at Summa Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio where he served as House Staff Chief Resident his last two years and received the American Osteopathic Associations Resident Achievement Award. Dr. Dellinger was the Senior Resident in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery program at Ohio University/Cleveland Clinic SouthPointe Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
