About David Hecht, DDS
Dr. David Hecht graduated form the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from Howard University College of Dentistry. He then completed advanced training at the General Practice Residency program of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Hecht strongly believes that education is a lifelong process and has continued to pursue excellence in dentistry through continuing education programs. In 2013 Dr. Hecht completed an extensive training in dental implants at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine MaxiCourse. Dr. Hecht is a general dentist, but also performs root canals, tooth extractions, implant dentistry, crowns and bridges, dentures, gum treatment, minor orthodontics, and children's dentistry. He is a member of the Monmouth and Ocean County chapter of the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. When away from the office Dr. Hecht enjoys spending time with his wife Lia, daughter Ariel, and son Benjamin. He is also an avid skier and enjoys surfing at the Jersey Shore.
