About David Reynolds, DDS
Dr. Reynolds opened Westwood Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in Draper, Utah in 2018. Dr. Reynolds completed his undergraduate degree at BYU, in Near Eastern Studies. After completing his undergraduate coursework he moved to Los Angeles and in 2002 he graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry. Dr. Reynolds also completed an additional two-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD), focusing on dental implants and cosmetic dentistry. This intensive training has prepared Dr. Reynolds to handle complex cases involving implants, dentures, veneers, and bridges. After completing graduation, Dr. Reynolds stayed at UCLA, teaching both dental students and residents. He treated his patients at the UCLA Faculty Group Dental Practice where he continued to receive mentorship from UCLA's distinguished faculty. While at UCLA, he was awarded the Robert B. Wolcott Restorative Dentistry Award and was granted the Teacher of the Year Award in 2008. In 2009 Dr. Reynolds moved to Saudi Arabia, where he worked at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare. Working in the country's premier dental clinic with patients and dentists from many backgrounds has helped him develop flexible plans to fit varying needs and demands. He is now grateful to have returned to his home state of Utah. Dr. Reynolds' goal as a dentist is to help patients understand how to maintain their oral health and prevent disease. He cares about providing lasting treatment that is comfortable and beautiful.
