About Deanna Wu, DDS
Los Altos dentist Dr. Deanna Wu earned her dental degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City - School of Dentistry in 2001. She knew early on that dentistry was in her future. In high school, she applied to and was accepted into a special six year accelerated BA/DDS program; a program only available in a very limited number of universities in the United States. After completing the two year Bachelor's program, she continued on to finish her studies and was awarded the Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree. Dr. Wu also completed a post graduate program working with special needs patients and patients afflicted with oral cancer. She has been practicing here in the bay area since 2002, locally in Mountain View since 2004 and Los Altos dentist as of 2015. Dedicated and committed to providing comprehensive care for her patients, Dr. Wu routinely attends post-doctoral education programs in order to deliver the best possible treatment. She is Cerec® certified which allows her to design and make crowns in one day. Additionally, Dr. Wu has been Invisalign® certified since 2006, named Highest Submitting General Practitioner in Northern California in 2008, and is an Invisalign® premier provider. She is also a lifetime member of the U.S. Dental Institute - a post graduate orthodontic curriculum for general dentists.
