About Deidre Dehaan, Aesthetician Specialist
As a stylist and makeup artist, Deidre DeHaan works in film, video, stage and print photography of all styles. Her work can be seen in magazines, catalogs, print advertising, live fashion shows, commercials, Broadway musicals, award winning short films (Nooma), web and television series and feature films. Her experience as a makeup artist in Michigan has put her on movie sets and stage with celebrities such as Chevy Chase, Gerald R. Ford, Ted Nugent, Ozzy Osborne, and Zsa Zsa Gabor. In her most recent work on the feature film, ""The Genesis Code,"" Deidre worked closely with Ernest Borgine, Louise Fletcher, Susan Blakely, Catherine Hicks, Ben Murphy, Lance Henricksen, Fred Dalton Thompson, and Rance Howard. The director of photography of The Genesis Code, Kees Van Oostrum, praised her work saying that ""Deidre’s work is very professional and meets with the highest standards in the industry. Additionally, she has a very pleasant personality on set and a very calming and reassuring personality for the actors.” Her work on the Hollywood film, “The Steam Experiment,"" with actors Val Kilmer, Armand Assante and Eric Roberts, received high praise from the film’s executive producer, Neil Steinberg, who said, “I have used Deidre as an example of someone who is so well qualified, so good at what she does, that I would use her even if I wasn’t shooting in Michigan.” As a makeup artist for movies, television, photography or weddings, Deidre offers an artistic eye, a pleasant personality and the professional look any production may require.
