About Douglas S. Baribeau, DDS
Dr. Doug come from a long line of dentists in his family. His great grandfather Dr. Charles A. Baribeau Sr. graduated from the University of Michigan in 1921. His father, Dr. Charles A. Baribeau Jr. graduated from the University of Michigan in 1945 and started his own practice in Grand Ledge, Mi., where Doug grew up. Douglas Baribeau was born and raised in Grand Ledge near Lansing. He graduated from Grand Ledge High School in 1965 and then continued to follow in the family trade of dentistry attending the University of Michigan,where he was accepted into their dental program. In 1972 located in Big Bay,Mi Doug honed his abilities while working at Bay Cliff summer camp in 1972. He graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1972 and 1974 graduated with his Pediatric Dentistry degree. After graduation Dr. Doug needed to find a place to practice where he could provide care for those who needed it. He chose Port Huron after talking to some friends about the area and also realizing it would be a great place to raise his family. Dr. Douglas S. Baribeau has been practicing Pediatric dentistry for thirty-five years in St. Clair and Sanilac County. Just five years ago he closed his Sandusky office and decided to focus on his Port Huron practice. He is always looking ahead to the future and making sure patients receive quality care.
