About Edward S. Alessandrini, DMD
Dr. Alessandrini was born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the Catholic University of America. He received his Dental degree from the University of Connecticut. After completing his Dental degree, Dr. Alessandrini completed a six year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. During his training, he received a medical degree and completed a year of general surgery. Dr. Alessandrini is a Board-Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He has been practicing in Charlotte, North Carolina since 2006. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Alessandrini has devoted his professional career to all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery with special interests in implantology, bone grafting, anesthesia and dentoalveolar surgery. Dr. Alessandrini stays abreast of the latest developments in his specialty with numerous continuing education courses. Dr. Alessandrini and his wife, Lori, live in Waxhaw and have 5 children combined.
