Dr. Parisi graduated from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, formerly University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ-NJDS) in 2000. A NJ native, she is a proud alumnus of Stevens Institute of Technology. Dr. Parisi followed her passion for both medicine and dentistry at University of Pennsylvania (UPENN), where she completed a Fellowship program in the field of Oral Medicine. For several years, Dr. Parisi worked in academics as Assistant Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences at UMDNJ-NJ Dental School. At the school, she pursued her teaching and clinical research, and served as the program director for the postgraduate Oral Medicine Fellowship program. She also completed the board examination and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Medicine in 2004. After several years teaching, Dr. Parisi transitioned into private practice. Since then, she has learned to integrate her Oral Medicine background with general dentistry. In 2009, she opened Parisi Dental in Totowa, NJ. She continues to practice both general dentistry and Oral Medicine. Dr. Parisi lives in Wayne with her husband Tony and their two daughters, Valentina and Sabrina. In her free time, Dr. Parisi enjoys exercising, traveling and cooking with her family. She is an active volunteer in the community and her church.
