About Francine A. Cedrone, MD
Having desired to be a physician since childhood, went on to the University of Pennsylvania Medical School and graduated in 1976. After having spent a summer as a medical student following the practice of a surgeon at Lankenau Hospital, I decided to pursue a surgical career. I was a resident in General Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania from 1976 to 1982. I then was a resident in their Plastic Surgery program from 1982 to 1984. During my General Surgery residency, I spent a year in the laboratory doing research in the blood flow to flaps. I entered practice in 1984 at Paoli Hospital and also at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. I am currently an active staff member at both hospitals.
