About George Marcantonis, DMD
Dr. George Marcantonis was born in Woodbury, NJ. Living part of his childhood in Athens Greece, Dr. Marcantonis returned to the US at age of 14 in search for a better tomorrow. Dr Marcantonis graduated from Millville Senior High School in 1994, than he moved on to and graduated from Richard Stockton College of NJ in 1998. At Stockton Dr. George earned a BS in Biology (Pre-dental track) and then moved on to attend Temple University School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree, graduating in 2002. After dental school, Dr. Marcantonis worked in several dental offices in New Jersey, while waiting patiently for an opportunity to buy into a great practice. In 2012 Dr. Marcantonis bought into the practice of his dreams, taking over a great dentist for over 40 years, Dr. John Spellman. It was Dr. Spellman’s uncle, Elwood Spellman who started the practice during the mid-first half of the 20th century. Dr. Marcantonis prides himself in providing high quality dental care for his patients in a comfortable and compassionate setting. Dr. Marcantonis also emphasizes pain-free and conservative dentistry, and empathizing with the fearful. Dr. George Marcantonis and his wife Agnoula and 3 daughters (Eleni, Katerina and Christina) live in Thornton, PA. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, loves soccer, loves singing and loves the beach.
