About Harry L. Habbel, DDS
Originally from Williamsport, Pennsylvania, Dr. Habbel now enjoys practicing in the Southampton area and spending time with his wife and three children. He is also an avid soccer fan and tennis player and an active member of his church and community. Dr. Habbel chose dentistry as a career because it allows him to exercise his creativity while helping patients maintain both their general and oral health. By focusing on comprehensive patient care with optional cosmetic enhancement, Dr. Habbel demonstrates his commitment to his patients' overall well-being. He also has the education and the expertise to put his ideals into practice. Dr. Habbel received his B.S. in biochemistry from the University of Pittsburgh in 1977. He then studied dentistry at the Temple University School of Dentistry, receiving his D.D.S. in 1982. After graduation, Dr. Habbel completed a one-year residency and a one-year fellowship in 1983 and 1984 at the renowned Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. His residency training enables him to offer you the convenience of comprehensive periodontic and endodontic care with no need for outside referrals. In 1983, Dr. Habbel went into private practice and has been practicing ever since. Dr. Habbel is a member of several recognized dental organizations, including being a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, a member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Dentistry and a member of ITI, International Team for Implantology where he meets monthly with world renowned implant specialists.
