Following her undergraduate studies, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Sciences from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2008. Dr. Pfefferle lived and practiced dentistry in Central Ohio for over two years after receiving her DDS until deciding to move back to Traverse City, MI in 2010 to practice at Cherry Bay Dental. Since returning to Traverse City, Dr. Pfefferle has been providing the community with outstanding, personalized, and friendly dental care. She and her dental team give every patient the attention and focus they deserve in a comfortable and quaint setting. Dr. Pfefferle’s patients are always impressed with her ability to make each person feel like they are important and that their needs are her first priority. Dr. Pfefferle continues her education frequently in order to continue to offer her patients the best treatment possible. She often visits the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, FL, for much of her continuing education, and is involved in a number of local and state study clubs associated with the Institute. The Pankey Institute attracts many dentists committed to excellence in their practice, with a particular emphasis in comprehensive dental care and occlusal health. Dr. Pfefferle pays particular attention to how the upper and lower teeth fit together, and enjoys finding solutions for her patients who are experiencing muscle pain and headaches. Dr. Pfefferle married Ryan Pfefferle in September 2009, shortly after his discharge from the Army. Ryan is a graduate of Defiance College (Defiance, OH), has earned a Masters of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management and is currently pursuing a degree in commercial horticulture from Michigan State University. When not creating beautiful smiles for her patients, Dr. Pfefferle enjoys gardening, running, hiking, camping, fishing, cooking, and anything that has to do with being outdoors. On Sundays, you can hear Dr. Pfefferle show off her musical talent when she plays the violin at her local church.
