About Henry A. Blom, DDS
Henry A. Blom DDS graduated from New York University College of Dentistry, class of 1984. He then continued his education through a General Practice residency at Luther medical Center Hospital, Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Blom is committed to treating patients under his care as individuals. Each person, young and not as young, has their own specific goals for healthy, esthetically beautiful teeth. Our smiles including lip, teeth and facial features, are a large part of how we meet and greet people. A beautiful, confident smile is a gateway to introduction. Improving how a patient feels about themselves can enhance confidence, and affect how others view them. Education is a vital part of Dr. Blom’s practice. Patients learn to achieve and maintain a beautiful healthy smile. Elevating a patient’s “dental IQ” is the first step that Dr. Blom and his staff take to help patients under his care reach their individual dental goals. To maintain the highest quality of dental care Dr. Blom and his staff attend numerous continuing education seminars, and are involved in dental care professional study groups throughout the Greater New York Community. Dr. Blom is a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, the New York State and Westchester County Dental Societies. Dr. Blom received “Recognition and Thanks” from United States Congressman Vito J. Fossella, and the City of New York’s Office of Chief Medical Examiner for outstanding service and dedication to both New York City and the United States of America during the September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Center and the American Airlines airplane crash of Flight 587. Dr. Blom maintains a holistic approach to dental care. A patient’s mouth and dentition are part of the human body, not separate. By listening to patient’s needs and concerns regarding their dental health, Dr. Blom helps individual people attain a healthy beautifully happy smile.
