About Jacqueline Magallanes, DDS
Dr. Jacqueline Magallanes is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. As a student, she was involved in community outreach through various organizations and served as the president of the Hispanic Student Dental Association. Through these organizations, she was able to attend various student leadership conferences around the country, and serve as a volunteer promoting oral health and providing dental care in Chicago. Her outreach also led her to complete a five-week clinical rotation in Guatemala, where she provided dental care to underserved, indigenous families. Dr. Magallanes is bilingual and fluent in Spanish. Helping patients understand their treatment and oral health conditions is something Dr. Magallanes believes helps reduce dental anxieties and misconceptions. She believes in patient-centered care consisting of disease prevention and patient education. Her goal is to ensure that each patient’s concerns are heard and addressed while prioritizing oral health. Dr. Magallanes is a Chicago native, who in her spare time enjoys singing, traveling, and spending time with her family.
