About Jeremy A. Brauer, MD
Jeremy A. Brauer, MD is an internationally recognized dermatologist with board certification and fellowship training in Mohs micrographic, laser, and cosmetic surgery. Dr. Brauer strives to provide the highest quality of care and an exceptional patient experience utilizing state of the art technology and techniques. Dr. Brauer graduated with Highest Distinction from Cornell University and was named a Merrill Presidential Scholar. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, completing a Doris Duke Charitable Foundation Clinical Research Fellowship and receiving the John Glick Prize for Translational Cancer Research. Dr. Brauer trained at the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at New York University Langone Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident in his final year of residency. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Morris Leider Award for Excellence in Dermatology; he then completed a two-year fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery, laser surgery and clinical research at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York. Dr. Brauer is sought after by media for his medical knowledge and his down to earth way of communicating medical procedures. He has commented on procedures including tattoo removal, injectables and cellulite in outlets including CBS News, Fox News, Extra, GQ Magazine, Reader’s Digest, Bustle, and Buzzfeed. He has presented nationally and internationally on his extensive research efforts and his scientific work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Brauer is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and the American College of Mohs surgery. Dr. Brauer is currently affiliated with the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology, NYU Langone Medical Center.
