About Jill Martenson, DDS
Dr. Martenson graduated with honors from UCLA in 1991, with her BS degree in Kinesiology. In 1996, Dr. Martenson graduated with high honors from UOP School of Dentistry. From there, she went to Denver, Colorado to complete her General Practice Residency, an advanced dental educational program, at the University of Colorado Health Science Center. In 1997, she returned to the bay area to join Piedmont Dental by Design as an associate dentist and later joined Dr. Herrero as a partner in 2000. Dr. Herrero has since retired and Dr. Martenson acquired the practice in 2014! Dr. Martenson is active in the national and local dental associations. She is a member of the American and California Dental Association, the Alameda County Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the New Dentists Alliance, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the International Congress of Implantology. Dr. Martenson has been a member of an Implant Study Club since 1997 and incorporates implant treatment planning and restoration into her practice. Dr. Martenson is dedicated to continuing dental education, which allows her to bring her patients the most advanced and cutting edge techniques dentistry has to offer. She is consistently adding hours to her CE courses ranging from implants to aesthetics to bonding. She also takes courses in personal growth and leadership. Dr. Martenson enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She loves to be able to help patients attain and maintain the beautiful smiles they have always dreamed of having.
