About John F. Makhoul, DDS
Originally from New York, Dr. Makhoul completed his undergraduate degree at Fordham University. Dr. Makhoul received his DDS degree from the New York University School of Dentistry. After receiving his degree, Dr. Makhoul completed a residency in general and aesthetic dentistry at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, NY. He entered into private practice in New York before moving with his wife and children to New Jersey and establishing his practice here in 1985. The field of dentistry is no longer limited to treating disease and restoring lost function. Many of our patients are interested in complimenting their appearance through new and innovative procedures now available. Tooth colored restorations, bleaching and laminates can all be part of a plan to help you achieve a superior final result. Although he focuses on general and aesthetic dentistry for adults, adolescents and children, Dr. Makhoul continues to take advanced training courses in various aspects of dentistry including porcelain veneers, TMJ appliances and implant supported crowns and bridges. Our emphasis is on preventive care. Through the years, he has maintained thousands of happy and beautiful smiles.
