About Jon D. Chadys, DMD
Dr. Jon D. Chadys has been offering competent and compassionate dental care to the community for over 20 years. He enjoys practicing dentistry with an emphasis on restorative, implant and cosmetic procedures. Dr. Chadys also enjoys treating children and has the utmost confidence that a patient of any age will leave with a smile. Dr. Chadys received his doctorate from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston after earning a degree in Chemistry from Miami University of Ohio. He then completed a rigorous dental residency program at Park City Hospital prior to opening his practice in Monroe. As a graduate of Tufts University's TMJ Residency Program, Dr. Chadys learned cutting edge techniques in the treatment of temporomandibular (jaw joint) disorders. He is a past clinical instructor at the University of Bridgeport's Fones School of Dental Hygiene and has also served on the State of CT Peer Review Committee. Dr. Chadys is an active member of the American Dental Association as well as the Connecticut State Dental Association where he maintains a vigorous continuing education schedule. In the event of a mass disaster, he is affiliated with Connecticut's Disaster Identification Response Team, where his skills would be called upon if necessary. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Chadys maintains a passion for flying, earning his private pilot certificate in 2004. He also leads an active, healthy lifestyle with a mix of swimming, hiking and just enjoying the great outdoors.
