About Joni K. Wallace, DDS
For over 20 years, Joni K. Wallace, DDS has been focused on the “whole life” health of her patients. She believes that oral health is crucial to overall well being. For example, we don’t realize that an infection in our mouths can sometimes indicate a larger ailment in the body that needs to be addressed. By successfully addressing the oral problem together with Dr. Wallace, other seemingly unrelated issues in a person’s body can be greatly improved. To accomplish this type of whole life care takes a passionate focus in building trusting relationships. Dr. Wallace considers this one of the most rewarding parts of her practice. Dr. Wallace attended Texas Christian University and graduated Magna Cum Laude from West Texas State University where she earned Bachelor's degrees in Biochemistry and Biology on the president's honor roll. While at West Texas State University she earned multiple distinctions of excellence: President and District President of Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society, President of Alpha Chi Honor Society, an award of “Most Outstanding Honor Student”, and she received second place as “Woman of the Year” for the entire student body. Upon graduation, Dr. Wallace attended Baylor College of Dentistry where she spent countless hours performing research and was on the Dean's List. She continued her post-doctoral residency at Baylor College of Dentistry and became certified in Advanced Education General Dentistry. Through this residency she was able to learn hands-on from the nation's leading aesthetic dentists. Dr. Joni K. Wallace knows that knowledge of the latest advancements in dental technology is crucial to the future of the dental profession, and she continues to seek knowledge in all areas of cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, sedation, occlusion, and fixed prosthodontics. A passionate lifelong learner, she attends numerous postgraduate dental studies programs and seminars at prestigious dental institutions such as Seattle’s Kois Center, The Pankey Institute in Florida, and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dentistry.
