About Justin Mallette, DDS
Dr. Justin Mallette was born in Greenville, NC and raised a military brat moving up and down the eastern seaboard as well as several locations overseas. He graduated Cum Laude from George Mason University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Mallette then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Mallette left Virginia after dental school to pursue a General Practice Residency (GPR) at Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville. While completing his GPR, he had extensive training in all aspects of general dentistry, including simple and surgical extractions, implant placement and restoration, anterior and molar root canals, crowns and bridges, and complete and partial dentures. While in his residency, Dr. Mallette treated patients in the dental clinic and operating room. He was also on call at an emergency department treating dental trauma. Following his residency, Dr. Mallette worked as an associate dentist at a practice in Asheville, where he gained significant experience in removable prosthodontics (dentures and partials) and implant placement for the edentulous patient. Dr. Mallette has a passion for restoring his patients’ smiles, allowing their teeth to be fully functional, and giving them the confidence to smile. He strives to make his patients as comfortable as possible during their first exam and throughout their treatment. He is an active member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society. In his free time, Dr. Mallette enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with his wife, Lauren and their new addition to their family, Oliver.
