About Lana H. Mckinley, MD
Dr. Lana McKinley is a Board Certified dermatologist, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair, and nails. She practices medical, pediatric and surgical dermatology. A Florida native, Dr. McKinley graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Florida College of Arts and Sciences, and then received her medical degree from Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She subsequently completed her internship and dermatology residency at Nova Southeastern University, Largo Medical Center where she served as chief intern and co-chief resident. She has authored medical articles in leading dermatology journals and presented at national conferences. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. Dr. McKinley’s professional mission is to deliver quality and compassionate care to her patients while empowering them with education regarding their own dermatological care. She believes that each patient is different, and recognizes that the best medical care is delivered with ongoing interaction between patient and physician. Her special interests including early detection and treatment of skin cancer, common and complex skin conditions, and adolescent dermatology including acne. Dr. McKinley is excited to settle back home in the Tampa Bay area with her family, and to join a practice that is focused on delivering outstanding patient care.
