About Laurie Burdman, DDS
Dr. Laurie Burdman attended State University of New York at Albany for her undergrad degree in sociology and biology. After that, she returned home to Buffalo, NY to SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2000. Having enough of the cold weather she moved to Louisiana for a general dentistry residency at Charity Hospital in New Orleans affiliated with LSU Dental School and the University Hospital Medical Center of Louisiana. Here Dr. Burdman focused on the management of medically complex patients and oral surgery. In 2002 she moved to Washington DC and worked in private practice on Capitol Hill for three years. Washington proved to be very interesting, but still too cold. In 2006 she moved to Tampa and has been in the area ever since working in private practice. Continuing education is very important to her to stay current so she can provide her patients with the most up to date techniques for cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Dr. Burdman also does volunteer work in the community. She is a member of the American Dental Association, and the West Coast Dental Association. Dr. Burdman is an avid reader, and loves to travel.
