About Lisa R. Hynes, MD
Dr. Hynes was born in California and raised in Indiana and Michigan. Certified by the American Board of Dermatology in 1997, Dr. Hynes specializes in clinical dermatology and dermatological surgery with specific interest in the treatment of skin cancer and other sunlight-induced lesions. Dr. Hynes completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan. After graduation she moved to Philadelphia to obtain her medical degree at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, graduating summa cum laude. She then moved on to Florida to complete her internship at the University of Miami and her Dermatology residency at the University of South Florida. Dr. Hynes joined Arrowhead Dermatology in 1999 after serving as Chief of Dermatology Services at Luke Air Force Base. Dr. Hynes prides herself on taking the time necessary to listen to and communicate with all of her patients. She is active in the community and enjoys spending time with her two children Cassandra and Robert. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Hynes is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, an active member of the American Medical Association, and a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Hynes’ involvement in research/clinical trials has facilitated a host of publications. In her spare time, Dr. Hynes is an active member of her community and enjoys spending time with her two children, Cassandra and Robert. She enjoys a health conscience active lifestyle and is an avid cyclist.
