About Margaret A. Meadows, DDS
Dr. Meadows is a Coronado native and became fascinated with dentistry back in high school when she began working for Dr. Cahill’s office. Originally, she wanted to become a dental hygienist, but Dr. Cahill encouraged Dr. Meadows to “go for it” and pursue a career as a dentist. Dr. Meadows graduated from Whittier College in 1985 and went on to study at UCLA Dental School, graduating in 1989. Throughout her education, Dr. Meadows loved teaching along the way and interacting with patients one on one. It is Dr. Meadow’s goal is to be known for truly caring about her patients holistically. This includes considering their overall health needs as well as their lifestyle and family. Dr. Meadows says “Dentistry is about the third thing we do…. We love our patients 1st, we sing second, and then we do dentistry.” From infants to 106 year olds, Dr. Meadows has the skill and expertise to handle all ages. Her philosophy towards dentistry is to first see the person, understand their desires, and then educate them on how they can achieve their goals. In her free time, Dr. Meadows loves to exercise, ride bikes and motorcycles, play tennis, and travel. (She even lived in Denmark for a time in 1984!) Dr. Meadows also loves getting involved in her community as she is on her church board and led a group called “Living Hope” that provided mentorship and aid for unwed mothers.
