About Mark J. Anderko, DDS
Dr. Mark J. Anderko Jr. is happy to return to the Chicago area to continue his dental practice. He graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis in 2012. Dr. Anderko Jr. joined the United States Navy in 2008, and served as a Lieutenant treating members of the military after graduation from dental school. During his naval dental career, Dr. Anderko Jr. practiced alongside incredible specialists to advance his skills in endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, operative dentistry, periodontics, and oral diagnosis. Dr. Anderko Jr. was honored to serve the dental needs of the Sailors and Marines at Great Lakes Naval Station (North Chicago, Illinois), Marine Corps Air Station and Parris Island Training Command (Beaufort, South Carolina). In 2016, he completed duty with the U.S. Navy, during which he received several commendations and awards from his service and leadership. Dr. Anderko Jr. is grateful for the opportunity the Navy has afforded him to serve our country while continuing to grow as a clinician.
