About Martin W. Werschky, DDS
Dr. Martin W. Werschky obtained his doctorate in dental surgery from the University of Michigan in 1982. After graduation he returned to his native Flint, Michigan to establish his general practice, and continues to serve Flint and the surrounding areas. In order to excel at a chosen career, one must commit to a lifetime of learning; this is the philosophy on which Dr. Werschky bases his practice. In line with this belief, he has studied under some of the most innovative leaders in dentistry including Dr. Pete Dawson, Dr. Waldemar Brehm, Dr. Clifford Fox, Dr. Leonard Carapezza, and Dr. David Hornbrook. He was a student at The Pankey Institute, and in 2010 he attended courses led by Dr. John Kois in Seattle. Dr. Werschky continues his education monthly with the Genesee District Dental Society and likes to stay updated on the most current dental technologies and practices. Dr. Werschky is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Genesee District Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. As of October 2010, he has had the honor and privilege of being inducted into the American College of Dentists. As an active member in the community, Dr. Werschky has participated in several programs that provide dental care to underserved children, such as “Give Kids a Smile.” He has also enjoyed being a mentor and contributor in the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization since 1993. As of 2014, Dr. Werschky and his staff have been participants in the annual GDDS Diaper Drive, helping to raise money for the Flint Diaper Bank which provides diapers to children in need around Genesee County.
