About Melissa Pappas, Aesthetician Specialist
I’m a skin care enthusiast! I started on my career path when I completed the esthetics program at the Aveda Institute in Charlotte, NC, and then passed the NC State Board esthetics exam in 2010. Less than a year later, I decided to get medical training to obtain the exact job position I’ve always wanted: a medical esthetician. I graduated from King’s College in August 2012 with an Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting. Currently, I’m a medical assistant, as well as a licensed esthetician. Since graduating in 2012, I have worked as a medical assistant for two and a half years in dermatology practices, and have spent almost 2 years as a medical assistant, skin care and recovery specialist at a very successful plastic surgery practice in North Carolina. After my incredible and extremely valuable work experience, having completed various continuing education courses and obtaining multiple procedural certifications, I am so happy to have a career doing what I love, and helping clients achieve their goals for their skin.
