About Michael A. Montuno, MD
Dr. Michael A. Montuno is a board-certified dermatologist and a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Montuno graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Florida with a major in Biomedical Sciences and minors in Biophysics and Public Health. He earned his medical degree at the University of Florida and completed an internship and dermatology residency at the University of Florida, where he was a chief resident. Dr. Montuno then completed rigorous training in the management of skin cancers & skin reconstruction during his fellowship training at TriHealth Good Samaritan Hospital/The Skin Cancer Center in Cincinnati, OH under the guidance of prior American Academy of Dermatology president, Dr. Brett Coldiron. Additionally, Dr. Montuno has authored several publications and has delivered presentations at national conferences for general dermatology, pediatric dermatology, dermatopathology, and surgical dermatology. Outside of his work, Dr. Montuno enjoys spending time with his wife and family, traveling, and cheering on the Florida Gators.
