About Michael Rice, DDS
Dr. Rice knew at a young age that he wanted to be a dentist and prepared early for the education he would need to get to dental school. He received his Bachelors Degree in General Management at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT while concurrently taking the required pre-dental courses and volunteering as a genetics research assistant. Immediately after completing his undergraduate degree he completed a research program at New York University. His research focused on the effects of sports drinks on teeth. He then attended the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and received his DDS degree. After his first-class dental training at UOP in San Francisco and practicing general dentistry in Texas he has the experience necessary to treat oral conditions from infants to adults. Dr. Rice is looking forward to settling down and raising his family here in Santa Rosa and getting involved in the community. Oral health is a passion for him and he wants to help each patient realize their goals of a beautiful smile and healthy mouth.
