About Michelle Cabret-Carlotti, MD, DDS
Michelle Cabret-Carlotti, MD, DDS is an extremely educated and even more highly regarded Cosmetic Surgeon with a diverse and unique background. Born on an Air Force Base in Puerto Rico to parents that worked for the Department of Defense (DOD), she spent her childhood in a foreign country for 8 1/2 – 9 months out of every year including Japan, Philippines, and the United Kingdom. Her parents felt traveling provided an education in and of itself and she had the fortune of traveling the world- Europe, Asia, and Russia. The highlight of her young life was coming home to Texas and California to visit family. She has vivid memories of driving from Killeen to McAllen to visit family when hours of the drives were tumbleweed. She is beyond thrilled to bring her girls and husband home to Central Texas. As a young adult, Dr. Cabret-Carlotti graduated Summa Cum Laude from Wagner High School, a highly academic DOD school in the Philippines. She began her higher studies at the Young Scholars program hosted by the UC System at the University of California, Santa Barbara while she was still technically a high school student. With the highly regarded Regents Academic and athletic scholarships in hand, she started her undergraduate education with a short stint at Arizona State University before transferring and graduating Magna Cum Laude and High Provost Honors in Psychology at Revelle College at the University of California, San Diego. She then went on to earn a Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from the UCLA School of Dentistry, ranked top 3 academically in the country. Leaving UCLA with the Highest Honors, and inducted into Omikron Kappa Upsilon – the National Dental Honors Society, she became the first female ever to be accepted into the very prestigious double degree program at the University of Texas, Southwestern School of Medicine.
