About Nam Park, DDS
Dr. Park received his D.D.S. degree from Columbia University, his M.D. degree from State University of New York, and his certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Kings County/SUNY Downstate Medical Center. During residency, he was exposed to all aspect of oral and maxillofacial training including medical mission trip to Colombia with SmileTrain to provide care for both children and adults with cleft lip and palate. Throughout residency, he was especially interested in surgical correction of facial skeletal deformities. After completing his residency, he was given the special privilege of working under Dr. Jeffery Posnick as a craniomaxillofacial surgical fellow at Georgetown University. During his time with Dr. Posnick, Dr. Park was able to evaluate and treat many patients with congenital and developmental facial deformities. His fellowship experience gave him the ability to solve complex facial problems. Dr.Park practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with emphasis in orthognathic surgery for congenital and developmental dentofacial deformities, sleep apnea, cleft care, and facial aesthetic surgery. His personal interests include traveling, sports, good music and reading. Additionally, he enjoys learning new things, currently taking boxing and salsa dance classes on spare time.
