About Natalie Baker, DMD
Dr. Natalie Baker is a licensed specialist and board eligible Prosthodontist. She received her dental degree from UMDNJ New Jersey Dental School. Prior to receiving her DMD degree, Dr. Baker earned a BA from Washington University in St. Louis, where she majored in Spanish and minored in Graphic Design. Her background in visual arts led her to Prosthodontics, which combines her desire to provide high quality oral health care with exceptional esthetic results. Her areas of expertise include implant placement and restoration, bone grafting, and cosmetic dentistry. As a Prosthodontic resident at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Dr. Baker completed research on a novel implant surface, funded by a grant from the Academy of Prosthodontics. She was awarded the Granger Pruden Award from the Northeastern Gnathological Society, and received awards from the American College of Prosthodontists and the American Prosthodontic Society for her research. In addition, Dr. Baker has maintained an appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Prosthodontics Department at UIC since she graduated.
