About Ned L. Mcewan, DDS
Dr. Ned McEwan was born and raised in Stony Point, NY. He completed his undergraduate studies in biology and chemistry at Rockford University in Illinois and graduated from Georgetown University, School of Dentistry, Summa Cum Laude and Salutatorian of his class, in 1983. At this time he was elected to the Zeta Zeta Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society and awarded The Morris M. Horowicz Award for Scholastic Achievement and The Herman M. Jerrow Memorial Award for Excellence in Clinical Operative Dentistry. Dr. McEwan has been practicing at his current location in downtown Stamford for over 35 years treating both children and adults. Introducing new technologies to the office, like low dose radiation digital x-rays and CAD/CAM, “same day” crown restorations, through on-going continuing education classes has been a priority throughout his career. Dr. McEwan is a member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association and the Stamford Dental Association where he served as president in 1998. He also serves as dental consultant for numerous nursery schools in the Stamford area. Dr. McEwan and his wife, Kathy, are proud parents of three children and two grandchildren and reside in New Canaan. He enjoys traveling with family and friends and playing golf.
