About Nelly Silva, DMD
I am Dr. Silva, but please call me Nelly. I am so glad to be a part of the Collegeville community and bring Advanced Dentistry of Collegeville. It’s my vision to exceed your expectations for a dental practice and bring you world-class service and quality…at a price you can afford. We know that dentistry isn’t always fun, and it certainly can be expensive. At Advanced Dentistry of Collegeville we work tirelessly to remove the barriers between our patients and the great, healthy smiles they desire! I don’t think it’s a mistake that we are so successful at what we do at Advanced Dentistry. One of my favorite quotes, “The distance between dreams and reality is called Action”, by unknown. This is what I love to do…its my passion, and my duty. “I remember how my parents sacrificed everything in Nigeria to come to US for myself and siblings to have an education. I remember my 5 siblings sharing 2 bedroom apartment. My parents working 4 jobs between each other.” This has developed who I am today. I continue to strive to stay above being average but seek out to create excellence. I received my Fellowship American Dental Implant Association September 2012-this distinction is achieved by less than 5% of dentist worldwide. I was also nominated amongst my peers as the 40 under 40 Fall 2014. You can count on me to stay on top of the newest treatments and the most current research. And as you will see when you visit our state-of-art office, I refuse to provide care to you with anything less than the best technology. I really could not do what I do without the support of my family. I am married to Paulo Silva and two children Dylan and Avery; and Chloe our Yorkshire terrier. I am truly blessed. I feel that it is my responsibility to teach you about your oral health so that you can make excellent decisions about which care to pursue. In my practice, my patients make their own decisions. I’m there to help and give you recommendations. We will work together…charting the best course for your care. Together we will make a plan that is custom-built for your goals, budget, and life.
