About Nikki Korloo, DDS
Dr. Nikki Korloo! Originally from southern California, she and her family moved to Sugar Land, Texas, in 2000, where she spent the remainder of her childhood. She attended the University of Texas in Austin and graduated with degrees in both Economics and Biology in 2011. In order to pursue her career, she continued her studies towards dentistry at the University of Texas School of Dentistry, in Houston, and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2015. A vibrant and outgoing individual, with skills to match, she quickly won the confidence of the team at Welch Dental Group and joined us as a full-time Associate Dentist in 2016. Since that time, Dr. Korloo has expanded her skills to include certification in Invisalign™. A practical solution to straightening teeth for those patients who require limited movement, Invisalign™ has proven to be a favorite among patients who want to improve their smile, but without the use of conventional orthodontic treatment. In addition to cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Korloo provides services in general dentistry; and offers certification in nitrous oxide for the comfort of her patients during their visits. A participant of the Invisalign™ Houston Study Club, Dr. Korloo is quickly expanding her affiliations with groups and organizations that serve to promote the advancement of the dental profession. She currently serves as a member in good standing with the following professional dental organizations: • American Dental Association • Texas Dental Association • Greater Houston Dental Society • Academy of General Dentistry In order to serve and give back to her community, Dr. Korloo participates in a number of volunteer events to offer her time and expertise for the benefit of those who would otherwise not be able to receive dental care. In partnership with such organizations as the Texas Mission of Mercy (TMOM), a mobile dental clinic that travels throughout Texas providing free basic dental care to Texans with limited resources or limited access to care, Dr. Korloo has proven to be fundamental to the continued success of such events and programs. In addition, she is motivated by volunteering her skills and time for the Veterans Smile Day, and Give Kids a Smile (GKAS) annual events – organizations that also provide much needed dentistry to those who are underserved. Outside of the office, Dr. Korloo enjoys spending time with her family and friends! A self-proclaimed “foodie” she enjoys dining at the amazing restaurants Houston has to offer; any new restaurant is certain to see her smile at some point. Cheering on the Houston sports teams is another favorite pastime, especially when that sports team is the Rockets!
